Exciting Changes to my Workroom

Well, this last month or so has been busy with orders again but also we managed to squeeze in a trip to Yorkshire to visit family. After finishing orders on Sunday Dale and I packed our motorhome up and set off for our 1/2 way stopover in Stirling which is around 4 1/2 hours away. We then continued the next 4 hours to my parents house and parked up on their drive till it was time to start the 2 part journey back home on Thursday. It was so lovely to see them and we enjoy it so much but are always glad to be back home here in the Highlands.

During our visit we were lucky to be able to collect a delivery of some workroom furniture to store my fabrics in. My workroom has always been a mish mash of items that although have worked perfectly well for me for the last 12 years we thought it time that we paid some special attention to getting the space built functional and streamlined. We have ordered some units and worktops to be delivered anyday now (things take so much longer to be delivered to here) so I am getting very excited to have my space completed. I have even ordered some fancy crystal handles and pink paint for the walls - I have always wanted a pink room and never been able to have one really so watch this space. Below is a photo of my fabric storage and some of the pink. Will show the rest when its complete but as you can imagine, I have to do a little at a time so that my orders are not interupted.
