A very busy year and so it continues

Well 2022 has been a very busy year for us all. Firstly early spring we decided to open a little shop for Dale to be able to showcase and possibly sell a few of his woodturned creations. That was back in April and started as the following picture

It soon (within a month) became clear that it simply was too small so it doubled!

But again it was so cute and popular that we plunged into investing in a log cabin. The weather was terrible and so everytime we opened the little hut doors things got blown out or drenched! we just had to do something! Sooooo the following pictures show the next stage!

So in June we had this arrive. Within a week we were up and running with a fully stocked cabin with visitors coming nearly every day to see Dale and his wares. He has had such a ‘kick’ out of showing and selling his wooden creations.

While he works outside replacing and creating items to sell in his cabin, I work away in my workroom sewing my jackets.

Summer in the Highlands this year was very poor, lots of bad weather so we didn’t get out much at all and before we knew it we were changing the clocks and nights were drawing in.

Our animals have had some lovely walks and fun on the beach and around this year and having a whale of a time.

Otis is now star of the show meeting Dale’s visitors and demanding their attention.

Christmas is around the corner and can’t wait for that.
